Winston is an entrepreneur, advisor, full-stack engineer and a happy person at Jolly Good Code
- a consultancy that specialises in Agile Software Engineering Practices and Ruby (and Rails).
Formerly from Pivotal, Winston's started his specialisation in Ruby, the programming language,
in 2008 and has worked on numerous engineering projects including successful start-ups
such as Wego, Viki, Friendster, The Commissioned, ShopVenture etc.
As an Agile practitioner, Winston also provides consultation services in Agile transformation
and he has lent his skills to organisations like IDA, MOE, Roomorama, Kaligo and Carousell.
With his experience in Ruby, Winston conducts both corporate and public workshops for Ruby,
and he has done so for corporates like IDA, MOE, NCS and SPC.
Besides doing his regular job of writing quality code, Winston also organizes Singapore's
Ruby meetups, Rails Girls and the annual RedDotRubyConf that sees 350 devs each year.
Occasionally, you might find him contributing to open source projects too.
